Know the airport, terminal and meeting plan.
JFK, Newark and LaGuardia serve different approaches to the city. A private flight through Teterboro needs an FBO-specific brief.
JFK’s current advisory directs arriving Terminal 5 and 7 car-service passengers to the Howard Beach pickup lot via AirTrain. Confirm terminal-specific instructions rather than assuming the car will be at the terminal curb.
For a pre-booked car service at Newark, follow the signed ground-transportation area and your operator’s precise meeting instructions. Port Authority Information Centers provide official assistance.
Teterboro serves business and general aviation through multiple FBOs. Request the FBO name and exact address from your flight operator; aircraft-side vehicle access must be explicitly permitted.
Use local New York time for the pickup date and time. If passengers arrive at different airports, provide their flights as separate legs with a lead contact for each group.
